At the Modern Stone facility, we have some of the most advanced stone cutting equipment to be able to cut raw natural stone to perfection.

We choose some of the highest quality from Canada, the United States & Italy, which we bring from the quarry directly to our 60,000 sq.

ft. Alberta cutting facility.

Position

Greater Vancouver ( Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Whistler and Vancouver Island )

Responsibilities Include:

• Call on the Architect, Design community, and Contractor to present and promote Modern Stone for the purpose of generating project specifications
• Assist in the preparation of specifications, quotations, and sales reports
• Track and forecast project specifications and sales
• Gather industry and productspecific feedback in order to support new product idea sourcing.
• Work closely with the marketing department to help build the brand

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in the construction materials industry (Wood flooring, tile etc.) preferably with Stone veneer
• Strong presentation and closing skills
• Good knowledge of computer programs
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal ability.
• Maintaining customer relationships with existing and future customers.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel, please inquire for further details
• Experience in the Architectural and Design community is considered an asset
