Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and materials. Your strong communication skills and ability to analyze data will contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Duties:

Coordinate and schedule the transportation of freight, ensuring timely delivery
Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to provide updates on shipment status
Utilize transportation management systems to track and monitor shipments
Analyze data to identify trends, resolve issues, and optimize transportation routes
Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any concerns
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations throughout the supply chain

Experience:

Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role is required
Familiarity with AS400, SyteLine, or other transportation management systems is a plus
Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics operations
Proficient in using phone systems and demonstrating proper phone etiquette
Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions
