Toptable Group is delighted to join Victoria's vibrant dining community and is poised to unveil a new fresh and approachable seafood restaurant concept in the Spring of 2023.

Come work with and learn from Victoria's own Executive Chef Kristian Eligh and celebrated Pastry Chef Dominique Laurencelle as they design seasonally focused menus that celebrate the global and locally sourced ingredients.

JOB SUMMARY:

Working under the supervision of the chef, the incumbent will play a key role in preparing ingredients and dishes. The Line Cook is passionate about the experience they're creating for guests through food. We are hiring for both Part-time and full-time employment within this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Other duties may be assigned as required)

Prepare and cook high quality foods
Maintain food safety and hygiene
Cook with precision and speed
Communicate and coordinate with the team, including frontofhouse

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

At least one year of directly related experience in premium Western cuisine within an upscale fine dining environment
Enrollment in or completion of a culinary program
Food Safe Certification
Ability to stand for long periods of time, withstand heat, and deal with the pressures of preparing food in a fastpaced environment
Dedicated team player who naturally builds camaraderie
Extremely organized; keeping to deadlines and working with precision in a fastpaced environment
Responsible, motivated, and energetic selfstarter
Excellent English communication skills
