Are you a skilled and motivated 310T Technician with a passion for heavy trucks and equipment? We are seeking a talented 310T Mobile Service Technician to join our team and provide top-notch maintenance and repair services for our diverse fleet of heavy trucks and machinery in Ottawa and surrounding areas.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform onsite inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of heavy trucks/heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, skidsteers, Dump trucks and more.
  • Troubleshoot Mechanical, Hydraulic, HVAC and Electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize equipment productivity.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure equipment & vehicle reliability and longevity.
  • Collaborate with the Service Team to manage parts inventory and order necessary supplies.
  • Utilize technology and digital tools to document service tasks and provide detailed reports.
  • Perform Ministry of Transportation vehicle inspections as per Ministry guidelines.
  • Perform scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs etc. on all vehicles and equipment.
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork as required for repairs and inspections.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a service technician for heavy trucks/equipment, with a strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently in challenging environments.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify problems quickly.
  • Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel daily.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and employees.
  • Possess own set of tools to outfit service truck.
  • Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
  • Excellent time management & communication skills.

From $40.00 per hour
