Summary
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service CNC equipment and perform general machine repairs
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance including daily oil, grease and filter checks, top ups and replacements.
- Perform facility repairs and general maintenance including lights changes outdoor repairs and maintenance
- Control maintenance tools, equipment
- Understand the health and safety act and regulations
Work Conditions
- Reports to Maintenance Technician Supervisor
- Day shift
- Off peak vacation schedule to provide shut down preventive maintenance.
- Physically capable of machine repair in a machine shop environment.
- Safety equipment, e.g. steeltoed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
- Overtime as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, completion of applicable trade school, or an equivalent related experience.
- Experience with machining as it relates to machine tool capabilities and requirements
- Trouble shooting and repair capabilities in mechanical, hydraulic and electronics
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic
