Position Summary

:

The Store Support Centre Pharmacy Student is responsible for handling pharmacy operations as well as assisting the pharmacist with patient care, managing supplies and other pharmacy related support.

This position will also provide customer service and all medical related questions. They will also be assigned to operational or professional services projects that our SSC team is working on.

What you'll do
:

Collaborates with pharmacists to get training on patient care, disease state management, and pharmacy operations.

Inputs, fills, and bags prescriptions and resolves invoice problems.

Provides customer service and transactions of cash register and raise query for any discrepancy.

Assists pharmacist in price checking and restocking of drugs.

Provides refers doctors' calls and all medical questions to pharmacist.

Receives and stocks incoming supplies.

Provides administrative support around pharmacy operations.

Assigned a professional services/operations project during the course of their rotation ‎
