Role Overview:
Facilities Maintenance
- Monitor and track Facilities mailboxes.
- Daily walk through of space to ensure overall condition of premises and common areas, hoteling offices; Clean and reset for new user after each booking.
- Furniture turnover in Client Center to support events/meeting needs.
- Maintain and update inventory of all equipment, furniture, and assets
- Manage the preventative maintenance cleaning, art, plant maintenance programs, filters, small appliances.
- Invoice processing
- Enter invoices through Chrome River for approval and payment.
- Ensure service levels are meeting contract and service agreements.
- Manage and stock emergency/first aid supplies, ensure equipment is in working condition.
- Hoteling physical updates of Visix/Name Plates.
- Prepare new hire workspaces prior to arrival are maintained (Lighting/carpet/walls, etc.)
- Internal meeting room review and reset.
- Liaise with vendors as needed.
- Work Permits: Building requests and completion.
- Procurement of notary seals commissioners' stamps.
Safety and Security:
- Conduct office tours for new hires re: Safety and overall amenities.
- Key member of Health and Safety Committee.
- Key member of Emergency preparedness team.
Working Conditions:
- Required to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
- Three to five years of facilities experience.
- Previous experience in a law firm is preferred.
- Postsecondary education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to organize and display leadership qualities as well as work well with coworkers.
- Ability to work under pressure, be flexible and adapt to changing situations easily.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and exhibit sound judgment.
- Exceptional communication skills.
