Job Description:


As the Financial Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our accounting solutions while providing top-notch support to our valued customers.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for building the foundation for offering managed bookkeeping services. Additionally, you will oversee the recently launched payment processing function.

Your ideas and vision will guide these product areas and contribute greatly to our mission of delivering exceptional property management solutions.


What you'll be doing:


  • Lead the development and implementation of a new managed bookkeeping service, collaborating closely with Sales to secure and onboard early adopters.
  • Oversee the payment processing function, including receiving and verifying payment requests, initiating payments, and reconciling the collection of funds.
  • Ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant bookkeeping and payment processing leveraging established procedures and timelines.
  • Collaborate with Propra's accounting function to manage and optimize accounting processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Deliver prompt and effective customer support for managed bookkeeping, Propra Service Accounting, and Autopay features, with a focus on swift resolution.
  • Work crossfunctionally with product development and support teams to address customer needs and provide input on product enhancements.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in payment processing, accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
  • Previous experience with property management or condominium accounting is a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and crossfunctional teams.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving financial technologies.
