    House Person, Housekeeping
    Create the experience before the guest has even arrived. As a Houseperson, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and that our guests Feel Welcome from the minute they step into their room.

    What you will be doing:

    • Being a team player in assisting the Housekeeping Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
    • Offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests and responding timely to any special requests
    • Organize and maintain inventory
    • Ensure that supplies are well stocked and cleanliness is maintained to standard in public washrooms and fitness areas by completing daily walk throughs.
    • Responding to and completing all Housekeeping guest request calls.
    • Maintain floor cleanliness standards in all public areas by using floor-cleaning equipment such as extractors, bonnet buffers
    • Report any maintenance concerns as well as guest issues.
    • Maintain supplies and reports any shortages in supplies promptly
    • Adhere to Health & Safety policy and ensuring safe work practices are followed at all times.
    • Adhere to procedures of key control.
    • Adhere to Fairmont brand Housekeeping standards in all tasks.
    • Report any suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
    • Complete quarterly projects such as mattress turnings.
    • Adhere to Health & Safety policy and ensuring safe work practices are followed at all times.
    Qualifications

    Your experience and skills include:

    • Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
    • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
    • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
    • Must possess outstanding guest service skills with a professional presentation.
    • Previous Housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.
    • Must be physically fit in order to lift items that weigh a minimum of 25 kg.
    • Must be flexible in terms of working days and hours
    • Property Manager knowledge an asset.
    • Working knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment an asset.
