What you'll be doing


Enterprise Real Estate & Workplace Transformation (ERE & WT) is responsible for creating a forward-thinking global workplace experience across our enterprise portfolio.

We support the strategic and tactical premises needs of the CIBC group of companies by optimizing the occupancy of CIBC's office real estate portfolio.

This includes procuring, reconfiguring and renovating the premises from which CIBC conducts its business and delivers financial services to its customers.

We provide support that is efficient, cost effective and flexible, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Real Estate Planning, Transformation, Governance & Controls, the Director will be responsible for business management and strategic planning activities across the Enterprise Real Estate and Workplace Transformation (ERE & WT) team.

You will be responsible for the annual development of the ERE & WT strategic roadmap which aligns to the PC&B and Bank strategy.

You will support the ERE & WT leadership team to develop and communicate strategy and performance to various stakeholders/audiences includes the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.

Your business management accountabilities will include preparing meeting materials, project planning, DOE budget oversight including FTE tracking.

You will also support reporting activities including reporting on progress against strategic objectives, key metrics, space utilization and other reporting required to support strategic real estate planning.

The director will be accountable for the workplace and capacity planning analytics function including ongoing workplace utilization reporting, working closely with the enterprise data analytics team on developing the reporting as required, maintaining the workplace data analytics roadmap, and supporting the PC&B data governance program.

  • Integrate across ERE & WT and internal partners to give meaning to data, provide key insights to the Executive team, support real estate planning decisions and coordinate reporting of key metrics to internal dashboards and reports. Construct compelling and convincing strategic summaries and Executive/Board updates through strong power point presentation creation skills.

  • Support and enable the broader team with simple yet effective organization and updating of information. Lead by example assisting the Senior Director to improve overall team collaboration, efficiencies, and performance.
