Responsibilities:

• Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, making them feel comfortable and at ease as they enter the practice.
• Schedule appointments efficiently and effectively, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimizing wait times.
• Manage patient records accurately, always maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and exceptional customer service.
• Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient care and assist in managing the front office operations.

Requirements:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for providing outstanding patient care.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with dental software systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a busy reception area.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$21.00-$26.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Guelph, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- reception
- healthcare or dental: 1 year (required)
