You'll be responsible for:

Supporting the target price work, derisking the implementation schedule by securing long lead items/ supplier engagement.
Developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with the team, developing mutual trust and understanding.
Supporting the procurement of the subcontractors through RFP to financial close on behalf of the client.
Supporting the team to secure market coverage on the target price at each checkpoint and proposal stage.
Getting supplier engagement to ensure project awareness in the market and securing the services of the best of the supply chain.
Getting early engagement with the supply chain to support the project, with or without agreements in place.
Providing early procurement of critical and long lead items.
Supporting the procurement manager in the development and deployment of the procurement plan and new processes.
Ensuring compliance against their procurement management plan.
Validating tendered packages and issuing any nonobjections.
Ensuring the correct terms and conditions are issued to the supply chain.
Addressing and managing project and supply chain delivery issues.

You'll need to have:

Relevant experience in large engineering and construction projects.
Relevant experience working in large teams.
Understanding in working with multiple stakeholders in the implementation, deployment and administration of program procurement initiatives.
Experience deploying and administering procurement initiatives to ensure their deployment and effectiveness in achieving improved project outcomes.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
