General Duties:
Responsible to ensure the efficient planning and preparation for all, maintenance, modification and manufacturing activities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Plan the project effort and maintain project plan;
- Attend all engineering design reviews with the PM and act as production representative;
- Generate routine work cards and manufacturing job cards;
- Create and issue appropriate work instructions to detail the work to be carried out. Ensure instructions have steps/milestones;
- Work with the project coordinator and lead engineer to distribute job cards as per project plan;
- Monitor progress of job cards assigned by person and ensure risks to planned completion schedules are known and mitigation plans established;
- Work with the project expeditor to ensure that adequate material, shop supplies and tooling are available to complete projects;
- Analyze requests for maintenance/repair and determine validity, content and scope of request.
Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of aircraft manufacturing, component manufacturing and modifications.
- Interpret and verify drawings and other engineering documents
- Experience with computerbased software such as Inventor, AutoCad.

Education:
- Have a college or university diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace or equivalent experience.
