Responsibilities:

Conduct prenatal visits to monitor the health of expectant mothers and their babies
Perform physical examinations and order necessary laboratory tests
Provide education and counseling to patients on topics such as nutrition, exercise, and childbirth preparation
Monitor fetal development and assess the wellbeing of the baby during pregnancy
Assist with the delivery process, including providing emotional support and pain management techniques
Provide postpartum care to new mothers and their babies, including breastfeeding support and newborn care education
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Qualifications:

Valid nursing license
Certification as a Midwife
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to obstetrics and gynecology
Excellent patient care skills and ability to provide emotional support
Proficient in medication administration and monitoring vital signs
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
