Acara Solutions is seeking
Security Systems Technician to
work on-site with our customer in
Oakville, ON.


Here's what you'd do:


  • Install and program alarm and security systems, to include CCTV and access control
  • Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm system
  • Attending to all service calls received from customers via the company dispatcher or directly. Contacting customers following the notification of each service call as per procedures.
  • Repairing defective equipment in order to restore it to proper working condition
  • Assuring quality control through the completion of all scheduled preventive maintenance calls for assigned customer's equipment in accordance with the terms of service agreements
  • Providing technical and user support by directing and assisting clients in the operation of the products thereby assuring their most efficient use
  • Managing service call routing to maximize time utilization
  • Diligently completing and submitting work orders as needed.
  • All work orders completed at the client's site must contain serial numbers of equipment and must be signed by the client's designated authority
  • Participating in training sessions as needed to maintain adequate levels of skills and knowledge
  • Updating the dispatcher on the status of all calls, completed or workinprogress, on a per call basis
  • Performing product installations, reconfigurations, removals, or relocations as needed from time to time as well as site surveys as needed.

Pay: $25.00/hr.

Hours: 40hrs/week - 9/80.

Length: Direct Placement.


Required Skills / Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in security installation and maintenance.

Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Oakville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- alarm technician: 2 years (preferred)

  • CCTV: 2 years (preferred)
