Your Role :We are looking for experienced Warehouse Leaders with shift flexibility for our Weekend requirement: (Saturday-Monday 7:00AM-7:30PM), and (Friday-Sunday 7:00PM-7:30AM).

Your Responsibilities:
In addition to their standard job duties of a Warehouseperson, the Team Lead performs the following leadership duties:
Warehouse Operations:
- Follow programs implemented to ensure the efficient and costeffective operation and utilization of the facility;
- Oversee all warehouse services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling; returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities;
- Complete multiple tasks with mínimal supervision;
- Comply with all Health / Safety / Security programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property;
- Strive for continuous improvements in all facets of warehouse operations;
- Availability to work periodic overtime, on call and a variety of shifts in order to meet the requirements of the operation;
People Management:
- Ensure adequate training of staff;
- Train new hires and casual labourers;
- Assist team by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, value added processing and subassembly to ensure deadlines are met;
- Delegate tasks to warehouse employees and keep teams up to date with daily operational priorities;
- Act as a liaison between Management and front line employees;
- Complete multiple leadership and direct labour tasks with mínimal supervision;
- Standard duties and responsibilities of a Warehouseperson including operating various MHE;
- Additional duties as assigned.
Your Skills and Experiences:
- 2+ years' experience working in a Warehouse/Distribution Centre;
- Experience in leading teams will be considered an asset;
- Direct experience with distribution centre processes required (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, value added processing and subassembly);
- Strong customer orientation and problem solving skills;
- Proven ability to delegate tasks and prioritize work;
- Experience with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, value added processing and subassembly to ensure deadlines are met;
- Certification operating materials handling equipment (MHE) is considered an asset (i.e. counter balance, reach truck, order pickers);
- Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and cost structures;
- Knowledge of and compliance with health and safety standards.
