The Front Desk / Marketing Administrator will respond to all incoming calls, greet and direct all visitors, answering inquiries in a positive and professional manner, and be a professional representative of Engel & Volkers Waterloo Region.

They will also have knowledge with effective marketing strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • To answer all incoming calls, and respond to caller's inquiries in a positive, professional manner ;
  • To redirect calls as appropriate, take clear and concise messages when required, and provide excellent customer service and support to external customers and internal team members
  • Pick up and sort internal mail;
  • Prepare packages and arrange courier pick up;
  • Arrange meeting room schedule and bookings;
  • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well organized office; Monitor and order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Assist with small projects as required
  • Complete other duties as assigned;
  • Uphold and promote the organization's values
  • Greet all customers and other individuals entering the building
  • Uploading listings, booking appointments, and confirming appointments (when necessary)
  • Operate Real Estate systems (Matrix, TRREB, BrokerBay, ShowingTime, etc.,)
  • Perform any other job functions as necessary to ensure continued smooth operation of the business.
  • Assisting management when needed
  • Processing receipts for all deposits
  • Assisting with required deal related documents
  • Creating feature sheets
  • Provide social media support
  • Assist with event preparation
  • Strategize with Director of Operations on marketing strategies
  • Grow social media presence
  • Technology support
  • Know how to use Canva

Qualifications:


  • Above average interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to multitask under pressure
  • Willing to learn/team player
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Great listening skills
  • Previous social media support (preferred)
Occasional overtime may be required for events.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
From $19.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Waterloo, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Real Estate: 1 year (preferred)
