FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS JOURNEYPERSON - APPRENTICE
We have projects in the London and Sarnia areas, and we are looking for an apprentice to join our team

C&H Fire Suppression Systems Inc. is passionate about life safety. We are a family owned, privately held company founded in 1985.

We provide complete turn-key fire protection services to the industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential sectors of Ontario's construction industry, specializing in design-build projects.

Your role involves installing, adjusting, and repairing sprinkler-based fire protection systems and piping for engineered systems. Much of your work is above-head and includes physical labour carrying and moving equipment and tools. You will be trained on the job site by a licensed journeyperson.


Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Able to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work tasks.
  • Professional attitude and ability to work closely and communicate well with coworkers, other trades and/or clients.

Compensation

  • Unionbased salary paid weekly.

Hours based on union standards:

$60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
