KEY OBJECTIVE

The key objective of the Bilingual Client Service Specialist is to support our Canada Business Development Managers nationally in the growth of Accident & Health new business acquisition, renewals and account management.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Business Development Managers to maintain business relationships to secure the placement of new business and renewals;
Respond to broker, policyholder and internal requests regarding Accident & Health information;
Production of insurance proposals for all Accident & Health insurance quotes submitted by Business Development Managers;
Facilitation of new business case implementation, including onboarding training with Plan Administrators;
Day-to-day account management—for both existing and new business;
Work closely with Business Development Manager to manage day-to-day policyholder/broker inquiries;
Working with head office, underwriting, and administration teams pertaining to proposal production, renewals, and new business implementation.

Work Experience


QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of University degree/College diploma/ or equivalent insurance
- related education and experience;
Bilingualism in French and English is required to ensure effective verbal and written communication with all stakeholders;
Previous group insurance experience or financial services experience is an asset; previous Accident/Life Insurance experience is preferred;
Demonstrated track record of customer service orientation and proven ability to foster strong business relationships;
Ability to be innovative and creative in providing solutions to attact and retain customers;
Ability to work both indepedently and in a team enviornment;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) and ability to use company proprietary systems.
