KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Office and Logistics Coordinator your role will include:

  • Working with the Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the business.
  • Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and reports.
  • Managing inventory and procurement processes.
  • Collaborating with teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate records and files.
  • Building and maintaining strong and longlasting client relationships.
  • Establishing and implementing office procedures and practices to improve efficiency and productivity and compliance.
  • Maintaining the general upkeep of the premises.
  • Carrying out routine checks to ensure safety and security.
  • Proactively attending to general issues, simple problems, and troubleshooting.
  • Managing, overseeing, and directing driver routes, rates, and daily manifests.
  • Negotiating driver contracts and ensuring pay is accurate.
  • Ensuring all employee records are up to date, secure and compliant with Employment Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
As the Office and Logistics Coordinator, you will bring:

  • Proven experience working in a professional office environment.
  • That "can do" attitude to easily perform important, random tasks.
  • Knowledge if Xcelerator Courier Management Routing software an asset
  • Proven experience in logistics is valuable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely high standards of customer service
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
  • An ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • A capability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
  • An ability to sit in front of a computer for many hours a day.
  • Enthusiasm, and passion, with an ability to be calm under pressure.
  • A class 5 driver's license.
  • A forklift training is an asset.
