The Manitoba Intelligence Branch operates within a national intelligence network and provides strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence services. This includes, security screening, threat assessment, expert witness, investigations, and surveillance program areas.
Conditions of Employment:

- Satisfactory Internal Security Screening
- A valid Manitoba Class 5F Driver's Licence
- Ability to travel and stay overnight as required
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work overtime hours as required
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience leading and/or participating in investigations, such as workplace investigations, incident reviews, threat assessments and/or criminal investigations
- Experienced in information/intelligence collection, including knowledge of the intelligence cycle (planning, collection, evaluation, collation, analysis and dissemination) and methodology
- Exceptional research skills and high level of acumen for collecting and interpreting complex raw data to map an appropriate course of action, including risk assessments and use of appropriate investigative tools/methods
- Experience managing highly confidential and sensitive material
- Effective verbal communication skills with the ability to present to various stakeholder groups
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing high quality investigative reports and briefings for executive management and other stakeholders
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to foster, develop and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of staff, departments and external agencies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet workload demands and deadlines
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and independence using discretion to make sound judgement decisions
- Knowledge of privacy legislation including Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act related to Manitoba Justice operations
- Experience conducting interviews
