The
IT Systems Administrator is a hands-on technology operations role, that is primarily responsible for providing enterprise systems administration, with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM), as well as Productivity and Collaboration.

This role provides end-user and endpoint support, as an integral part of the 'IT End-User Experience'.


Responsibilities:


  • Triage, prioritize, escalate, and execute resolution on support requests and project tasks daily in an ontime fashion, while being organized, efficient and doing so in an expedited fashion.
  • Provide ownership and regular status updates that meet SLA on all assigned service requests and project tasks, until request has been resolved.
  • Review Network Monitoring Tool daily, looking for proactive maintenance opportunities.
  • Utilize Endpoint Management Tool to maintain OS and software update compliance on all workstations/servers.
  • Monitor Endpoint Protection Tool and perform updates or act as needed.
  • Maintain the Software License Management Tool, with regular enduser license audits
  • Provide credential administration through the Identity and Access Management Tool
  • Monitor and Maintain Database Backup/Recovery Tool, escalating failures to Infrastructure, as needed.
  • Create and maintain knowledgebase documentation, as well as standard operating procedures.
  • Provide handson support as part of an ITIL service desk environment, including provisioning new workstations and peripherals, coordinating associated purchasing, and facilitating network/electrical additions with vendors.
  • Participate in regular auditing of enduser access, service request status, and hardware inventory.

Qualifications:


  • Achievement of the 'MS102: Microsoft 365 Administrator' Certification preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in a nonentrylevel IT role, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems, using critical thinking and analytical skills with or without supervision, required.
  • 2+ years' experience, providing some capacity of support to endusers on Microsoft Windows 10/11 endpoints, joined to Azure Active Directory with Autopilot Device OOBE Provisioning, required.
  • Strong Previous Experience in the support of Apple MacOS endpoints in a Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment, with integration to Apple Business/School Manager, preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Voice Administration or Adobe Cloud Administration, highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of IT enduser and endpoint maintenance responsibilities, processes, and procedures.
  • Existing knowledgebase documentation skills, with the ability to articulate knowledge to nontechnical staff in both written and verbal communications.
