As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue and Airborne law enforcement agencies.

From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.

Primary Responsibilities

Compile and analyze quality performance data
Develop graphs, charts and quality reports
Coordinate with Production, Program Management and Engineering to conduct product failure analysis
Liaise with customers and Customer Service on quality matters and act as the customer's representative in the certification of systems
Perform internal spot audits related to the (BPMS) Business Process Management System
Responsible to support incoming, inprocess and final inspection tests

Desired Education and Experiences

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 processes
Basic understanding of statistical analysis and reporting
Experience in process quality control and product testing
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Visio, Word, Excel, Graphing)
Productrelated software functionality
Basic knowledge and understanding of the Opto-ElectroMechanical assembly processes
Experience with Lean Six Sigma process improvement concepts (i.e. root cause analysis, DMAIC)
Process orientated mindset
Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical capacity
Diploma in related or equivalent discipline with Quality Assurance training
Experience working to government contract standards
CQE or CQT is preferred
Process auditing / Structure like ME or time study
