Local Insurance Office in Thunder Bay is looking for a Administrative Assistant to join their team.This position requires an individual with a customer service focus who is able to work in a team environment and demonstrate exceptional organization and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance to our Manager and occasionally to our Customer Service Representatives
- Organizing, scanning and archiving documents
- Communicate with our clients, process payments and input information in our data entry system.
- Preparing client correspondence and other documentation as required.
- Call to set up meetings with our partners, inquire with various organizations for ordering of supplies and pricing.
- Keep an updated schedule for appointments and deadlines.
- General office administrative duties.
Applicant's Qualification:
- Must pay strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills with customer focus in mind.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment and have excellent organization skills.
- Positive attitude and self motivated.
- Demonstrate the ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Valid driver's license
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Salary:
From $45,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Thunder Bay, ON P7B5Z3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
