    Raymond James is seeking a full-time Associate Financial Advisor for one of our independent branches, Bobko Private Wealth Management, in St.

    Catherines, Ontario. Raymond James Ltd.

    is one of Canada's leading independent investment dealers offering high quality investment services to Canadians seeking customized solutions to their wealth management needs.


    The ideal candidate would have an existing client base and looking to expand their practice through growth and/or acquisition by joining our team.

    Transition assistance may be available as well opportunities for future asset acquisition.

    • Existing branch infrastructure with administrative, technological and business development support to allow you to focus on taking your practice to the next level.
    • Mentoring by senior financial advisor with almost three decades of experience to assist you in the growth and development of your business.
    • Training on systems, processes and practice management to maximize efficiencies.
    • Assistance in the client account and asset transfer process
    • An entrepreneurial environment that fosters creativity and growth
    • Independent environment without mandates or proprietary products
    This position requires an energetic and driven investment professional that can work both independently and in a team environment. The successful candidate must have a meticulous attention to detail, possess a positive attitude, and has superior interpersonal skills. We pride ourselves on integrity, hard work, continual improvement and the true value of independent advice.


    Specifically, you will:

    • Deal directly with your existing clients, attend client meetings, present investment ideas and encourage disciplined investor behaviour.
    • Build, monitor and re-balance customized investment portfolios, in accordance with client's profile and compliance requirements.
    • Assist in research, analysis, asset mix decisions, and investment product selection.
    • Prepare investment policy statements, investment proposals & client review presentations.
    • Provide high quality client service, including phone, email, written & in-person communication.
    • Maintain high standards of integrity, objectivity and expertise.
    • Build a profitable business and attract new clients with the assistance of the senior financial advisor.

    Qualifications required:

    • IIROC/CIRO licensed.
    • Business degree with finance focus
    • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in investment and/or financial services industry
    • Would be willing to acquire or have CIM designation.
    • Experience managing diversified portfolios with ETFs, mutual funds and individual securities.
    • Demonstrated ability to attract new clients.
    • Familiarity with Dataphile, Croesus, Morningstar, Microsoft Office would be an asset.
