    Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

    WORK ASSIGNMENT: The part-time academic will be responsible for teaching: SLWK 7400, "Integrated Approaches for Social Work Practice" . The course will be offered in the Winter term , from January-April 2025 . To confirm class times and locations, please refer to the
    Dalhousie University Academic Timetable. Note: this course is part of the MSW program.

    The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including preparing and delivering lectures and preparation and grading of assignments. In addition, the part-time academic should expect to be engaged in course preparations for one-two months preceding course delivery.

    Qualifications/Requirements of Position

    REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Strong skills in social work policy, theory, and practice integration, along with the ability to critically analyze concepts of power, oppression, politics, and citizenship. A Master of Social Work degree, or higher, and previous teaching experience is preferred.

    Salary Range/Pay Rate

    As per CUPE Collective Agreement
