Job requirements and qualifications:

Must be fluent in spoken and written English
Must be passionate about customer services and have a friendly personality and excellent personal presentation
Must have an excellent eye for detail and work well under pressure
Must be able work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Must be able to stand for long periods up to 8 hours without assistance
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, and place objects weighing up to 11.5 kilograms (25 pounds) without assistance
Previously hotel experience is an asset but not required
Second language ability also an asset
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to legally work in Canada and be bondable
Post secondary education is an asset
Must be comfortable with modern office software
Excellent time management skills

Job functions:

Process guest arrives, departures, reservations and all necessary payments
Provide accurate information to ensure room sales and maximum hotel revenue
Assist with check in/out process for groups and tours
Effectively handle investigate and result guest concerns in a professional and timely manner
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel including room location, features and rates
Interact effectively with guests and staff to create a positive hotel experience
