What you will do

As the Pricing & Contracts Analyst you will support the Canadian business by assisting in the development and implementation of financial, statistical, and analytical tools that provide insights in pricing and profitability across Business Units and Product Lines.

Provide analysis and insights related to sales channel performance, customer and market trends, and other internal and external factors that may impact Key Accounts, Shared Services Organizations (SSO) and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO).
Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities to reduce contract leakage, improve data quality and customer experience.
Enhance current pricing structure and operations to optimize sales outcomes.
Collaborate with commercial teams in scoping product mix and pricing for Contracts and Special Pricing initiatives.
Present thorough profitability analysis with financial forecast, to senior commercial leaders, Director of Finance, Legal Counsel and collect their approvals for contract submissions, extensions, and amendments.
Support the sales, marketing managers and Business Unit Leaders with adhoc analysis (pricing, market data, financial customer performance).
Work with contract specialists and marketing to provide profitability analysis on proposal submissions, contract extensions and amendments.
Evaluate the accuracy of RFP forecasts relative to actual sales performance.
Data driven influencing of price adjustments where appropriate and advocating for price optimization.
Provide analysis to facilitate the review of current performance vs. operational expectations.

What you need:

Bachelor's degree required.
1+ year experience in data analysis/ manipulation (designing, building, and maintaining files in Excel) required.
Ability to influence change at various levels of the organization.
Continuous improvement mindset required.
Scripting experience in Python and/or 'R' an asset
Bilingual in French Preferred
