Description

We're looking for a dedicated IT Project Manager for our team in BC

Work Set-up: Hybrid (M-F: 8 AM - 5 PM)

Salary Range:
CAD 5- CAD 63 per hour

Estimated Contract Duration:
September 1,202- August 31, 2024

Responsibilities:

Manage the solution, delivery, and acceptance of the intranet's cloudbased engagement and experience platform for a healthcare organization
Work assignments should be be completed on time.
Manage the project in Island Health's project management system (JIRA) with project and task updates
Report biweekly on project status to leaders
Report biweekly on the project blog for employee transparency into the project

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in information technology, sciences, engineering or other technology related field (Post Graduate degree is a PLUS we accept CA, CMC, CMA, CGA or CFA )
Program Management Professional (PgMPSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
Use of the systems development lifecycle.
Has a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years as a Senior Project Manager in one or more of the following areas: (Project Integration Management/ Project Scope Management / Project Time Management / Project Cost Management / Project Quality Management / Project Human Resource Management / Project Communications Management / Project Risk Management Project Procurement Management)
Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint
Experience in Intranet implementations
Experience in Knowledge management systems
Experience in HR/Workforce management systems in a healthcare organization

Desired Skills:

Proficiency in project management systems (ex: Jira)
Strong aptitude in partner management.
Highly aware of cultural safety and deeply committed to engaging partners with a diversity, equity, and inclusion focus
