Job summary
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing amazing customer service while prioritizing safety and creating a positive environment . The opportunity involves directing traffic during loading/unloading procedures , communicating in person , by phone and by handheld radio with the Tower , Ships Officer , and Terminal Supervisor to ensure the safe and efficient loading and discharge of vessel traffic . Maintaining terminal buildings , grounds including emptying trash containers sweeping compound washing down building exteriors interior windows cleaning washrooms dusting vacuuming building interiors responding passenger queries route schedule information assisting passengers problems working ramps docks assisting vessel docking handling mooring lines giving all clear vessel departure as required checking potentially hazardous conditions dangerous goods oversize vehicles weight restrictions operating company vehicles large trucks restricted spaces performing additional duties stocking Coffee Shop general Terminal stores handling baggage lost found items conducting security rounds driving forklift participating fire drills responding emergency situations moving furniture shoveling salting snow ice handling ships lines operating rescue boats garbage compactors terminal vehicles.Job description
