Position Title**:

Kitchener YMCA Kids Club (4055 Blenheim St, Vancouver, BC V6L 2Z1)
Terms:
Seasonal Contract, Full-Time; 35 hours/week
Shift:
Monday - Friday shifts vary between 7:30am - 5:30pm
Start Date:
July 2, 2024. Training on Saturday Jun 8, 2024
End Date:
August 23, 2024
Salary:
$21.00 per hour

Major Responsibilities:
- Facilitate games and activities for campers
- Engage and build relationships with campers
- Ensure all campers are safe and supervised at all times
- Follow all YMCA policies and procedures
- To be Professional (be on time, appropriately dressed, ensure confidentiality, etc.)
Requirements:
- Experience working with children ages 51
- Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR
- B or C & AED
- 20 hours of training in Child Development and/or Child Guidance
- Available to work full time hours for entire contract
Canada Summer Jobs Criteria
- Be between 19 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations. International participants are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian citizens or permanent residents
