Description

Valley Waste and Recycling Inc is a liquid and solid waste management company that has been servicing the Fraser Valley for over 20 years.

We pride ourselves in keeping the streets clean, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the communities we serve. We're currently looking to hire a full-time Labourer to add to our growing Transfer Station team.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Direct all yard traffic
  • Assist with yard maintenance and cleanup
  • Lift/move materials, pallets, bins, etc. as required
  • Provide assistance to the equipment operators
  • Clean work areas and equipment
  • Tarp trailers in compliance with the company's safety policies and procedures
  • Track time worked using the employerprovided time and attendance tool
  • Practice safe work procedures at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Specific Skills:


  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and manual dexterity
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing training for success in the position
  • Follow oral and written instruction
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships

Job Type:
Permanent


Salary:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour
