Project Manager
Penn-co Construction, a prominent construction firm, is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our crew at the Steinbach office.
As the Project Manager, your role involves planning, organizing, executing, and delivering corporate projects within set deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee construction projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to building and safety codes.
- Establish and nurture productive relationships with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and the community.
- Conduct and manage project meetings involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement project reporting protocols, oversee project scheduling and budgeting.
- Uphold contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and manage change orders.
- Handle all change order processes, including negotiation, processing, cost evaluation, and claims preparation.
- Monitor progress billings and review productivity plans.
- Maintain a professional management approach when interacting with stakeholders.
- Cultivate a collaborative team environment with Project Coordinators and Superintendents.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, training, and motivation to the project team.
- Manage all aspects of project closure.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably on projects valued at $5 million or higher.
- Possess a diploma or degree in Project/Construction Management or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in interpreting building blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and manage workload efficiently.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency and a willingness to learn new software.
- Self-driven, ambitious, and deeply passionate about construction.
- Problem-solving abilities, positive attitude, and a mindset of continual improvement.
- Knowledge of construction methods, codes, and industry best practices.
- Flexible with working hours and occasional travel.
