WorkSafeNB is seeking a two-year term contract for a Senior Project Manager.As a member of the Project Management Office team reporting to the Manager, Project Management Office, the Senior Project Manager is accountable for managing complex projects and or programs that expand or impact multiple business units across the organization, multiple stakeholders, with high levels of unpredictability and which often involve external vendors.
Management of the project team is central to this role and typically is much more challenging than conventional direct reporting structures.
The Senior Project Manager is ultimately responsible to the organization for the actions and activities of many stakeholders within a project environment and is responsible for achieving project objectives.
The Senior Project Manager also provides coaching to project managers and applies standard project methodologies to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of solutions that provide value and align to the WorkSafeNB strategic plan.
Leading project teams that span across multiple business units.Providing coaching and mentoring to colleagues, project stakeholders and project team members as it relates to the importance of the Project Management discipline and the benefits it brings to the organization to help achieve successful project delivery
Performing program management in which you will be accountable for overseeing the completion of a set of projects that are all interrelated and deliver a combined benefit to the organization.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation.Project Management
University degree in a related field.
Your primary workspace will be from your in-home office, with the occasional expectation of in person meetings, for that reason, working from outside the province or country is not permissible.
