We are seeking a Client Manager to join our team Client Managers at Benefits by Design provide service and support for internal and external clients.
They are responsible for managing and retaining an assigned block of business while maintaining excellent service and positive relationships with all our advisors and clients.
With their experience in the group benefits field, they mentor, coach and support the development of the Client Services team.
Benefits by Design, a division of People Corporation, works with small to medium-sized employers across Canada, administering their group employee benefit programs.

As a Client Manager at Benefits by Design, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team atmosphere as well as:
- Anticipate, recommend solutions and make decisions based on the needs of the client
- Gather and utilize client data to assist in identifying clientfocused opportunities
- Build and maintain Advisor relationships and support Plan Administrator relationships
- Mentor, coach and support team members and other colleagues (including external)
- Analyze with a "think outside the box" approach to solve problems and prepare proposals or alternatives to traditional and nontraditional employee benefits plans
- Manage and retain an assigned block of business in relation to plan design, cost containment initiatives and renewals
- Grow your skills and knowledge especially as it relates to the Group Benefits industry
- 2+ years of experience in the group benefits industry
- 2+ years working Client focused with commitment for service excellence
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet client and internal needs
- Excellent reasoning, judgment and decisionmaking abilities
- Good verbal and conflict resolution skills, and very good written and listening skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual (French/English) would be an asset
- GBA or CEBS designation considered an asset

This role is typically performed in an office based environment which may be at a Benefits by Design office, a People Corporation work center in Canada or hybrid.
