What Gerdau Offers You
- Rate: $37.96/hour (includes $1.00/hour additive once you have completed Industrial Maintenance Technician Training (IMT) provided by Gerdau during the onboarding process)

What You Will Do
- Lay out, install, maintain, repair plant pipelines, fittings, fixtures, and pressure systems
- Set up and operate bending, threading, and cutoff equipment to shape and fabricate pipe for installation
- Test, inspect, dismantle, repair, replace or install any type of high or low pressure piping, fittings, and fixtures for air, water, steam, oil, gas
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, closed loop water and fuel gas systems
- Read and interpret drawings and sketches
- Prepare material lists and trade calculations
- Operate material handling equipment such as cranes, tow motor operation including rigging
- Operate mobile equipment such as zoom boom, scissor lift, etc.
Education/Experience
- Certificate of Qualification (Ontario 307A Steamfitter) as recognized by the Ontario College of Trades
- G1 Gas Technician Certificate as regulated by the TSSA
- Valid Ontario Driver's license
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment both inside/outside
