The Senior Internal Audit Associate leads operational and special internal audit projects executing complex audit activities and initiatives.Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently manages and/or executes the most complex aspects of compliance financial and operational audits.
- Conducts interviews walk-throughs performs analysis to identify key business risks controls determines audit scope designs testing strategies tests evaluates documents internal controls identifies control gaps reports audit issues based on significance risk impact advises collaborates with business partners develops appropriate management corrective action plans conducts follow-up remediation control gaps participates leads audit related meetings ensures assigned project's audit work papers are complete sound judgment applied appropriate level work risks identified performed project timelines adequate smooth communication Manager exceptional cases facilitates oversees development implementation maintenance use automated flow analytical system data mining tools support enhancing auditing monitoring streamlines execution fieldwork supports external regulatory examinations reviews engagements IA role within HCCA effectively accurately communicates status executes tasks follows up as requested logs records status progress tracked contributes significantly planning execution delivery ad hoc high-priority projects all departments entities perform duties assigned.
