THE POSITION
H2O Innovation is looking for a Drafter who will work in collaboration with the engineer and technician team. His main responsibility will be to produce drawings for the fabrication of water treatment equipment and systems.

THE DAY-TO-DAY
Reporting to the Drafting Team Manager, the Drafter will be responsible for:

Create 3D models and general arrangement drawings (ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, sand filters ) as per industry standards;
Standardization of drawings (Production drawings and Layout);
Development of drafting tools to increase efficiency;
Implementation, administration and maintenance of parts and components database;
Setup programming link between costing tools and drawing tools;
Create frame drawings for internal and external fabrication:
Create cut lists for frame fabrication:
Create spool drawings for internal and external fabrication:
Create manufacturing fabrication/assembly drawings:
Create bill of materials for ordering components.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Technical Degree in mechanical drafting;
3 or more years in a technical discipline;
Proficient with AutoCAD Inventor, MS Excel and MS Word;
Ability to produce 3 dimensional assemblies and parts;
Membrane, media and waste water experience is an asset;
Team player;
Ability to work on multiple assignments and take direction from multiple engineers:
Very strong organizational skills:
Fast learner.
