About The OpportunityOur client, a highly reputable organization in Ottawa, is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their dynamic team to fill an existing vacancy.
+Responsibilities
- Actively participates in department planning sessions to assist in developing a flexible audit plan
- Effectively and efficiently performs assigned work including:Lead audit projects and achieve results within the scope and schedule assignedPrepare individual work programs for all assignments and complex projects using a risk-based approachCompleting assigned work independentlySupervise and review work performed by team members during projectProvide meaningful feedback to audit team members Manager and Director regarding work performedMentor team members and stakeholders as requiredCommunicate effectively with the audit team and stakeholders throughout the worAnalize data in routine situations uses auditt tools to facilitate the analisPreparereports files raise exceptions provide value added recommendationsManage engagements within the approved budget timelines using project management techniques / mechanismsBuilds maintains networks with managers employeesActively participate in tean discussions providing feedback ot hers witin teh groupMaintain currency professional standards IIA CIA ISACA etc apply these standards everyday interaction wit stanholders peformance of wo
