Job Description:


World Vision Canada is moving to Workday and we are looking for an experienced project lead to champion our migration.

Providing a great employee experience is a key objective and this is a critical initiative for our organization. The Workday Specialist will be the champion of the project from start to finish.

Duties and responsibilities


The Workday Specialist will:


  • Ensure smooth and successful migration to the new platform and sunset current systems.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholder teams to identify all intersecting system dependencies and to define and refine business processes.
  • Maximize our utilization and investment in Workday through foundational configuration.
  • Ensure all data points are clean and related policies are up to date.
  • Champion, coordinate, and conduct appropriate training for end users.
  • Provide regular enterprise reporting and flag any roadblocks or issues for resolution.
  • Collaborate with World Vision International Project Team for roadmap planning, requirements, support, and lessons learned.
  • Champion postimplementation analysis and refinements and create a plan to incorporate future system enhancements.

Qualifications:


  • 4+ years of experience in leading technology projects from design to delivery, preferably relating to migration and enhancements and experience with Workday or another HRMS.
  • A team player who has a passion for data and technology architecture.
  • Experienced in leading and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
  • Sound knowledge of best practices around HR processes, HR reporting and analysis background preferred.
  • Ability to analyze rigorous processes and provide creative solutions to simplify and enhance employee experience.
  • Proactive and works independently to keep project and all stakeholders on track, provides regular status updates and takes action to address any concerns.
  • Experienced in documenting workflows and developing and delivering end user training.
