Description

The AGH, one of Ontario's largest and most dynamic public art galleries, is looking for a number of experienced bartenders for the AGH Wedding and Event Services department.

The AGH Wedding and Event Services department manages and coordinates special events for corporate and social clients within gallery spaces.

In addition to delivering exceptional customer service, Bartenders should be professional, courteous and positive. This is a contract position that is event based and fluctuates seasonally. Shifts fall primarily on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks following Smart Serve Guidelines
Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt
Ensure bar remains well stocked at all times and anticipates needs of clients
Work with team to create specialty drinks and suggest new products to bar inventory
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas
Maintain a guest focus while performing duties
Notify staff supervisor if at any times a guest is unsatisfied with their experience.
