Ecco Transport Services, a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Dispatch Administrator at their Edmonton, AB location.

This position is Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm


Responsibilities:

• Correspond with customers to secure sites for Owner/Operators day and schedule
• Dispatch Owner Operators to next days sites
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding status of shipments
• On call phone used for drivers, customers and intercompany
• Coordinate preventative maintenance
• Send quotes to customers and follow up on unpaid invoices as required
• Create, complete, and distribute bills for drivers
• Maintain, organize, bill daily manifests, distribute and ensure accuracy of all highway and city paperwork
• Driver paperwork collection for file maintenance
• Weekly truck inspections

Qualifications:

• Experience in the Transportation Industry
• Experience with TMW is considered an asset
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Knowledge and experience in handling various kinds of freight
• Knowledge of Hours of Service
• Strong decision making skills
• Good knowledge of city and highway routes
