Brightisle is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of Brightisle ensuring our care settings have the resources necessary to enable high-quality service delivery to our diverse client population.

Summary


The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of Brightisle ensuring our care settings have the resources they need to provide safe, stable, and supportive home environments to the children, youth and adults in our care.


Motivated by a shared sense of purpose, the Administrative Coordinator supports an operational environment that runs efficiently and effectively while firmly placing relationships, connections, and engagement at the heart of what we do each and every day.


Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold the

CARE:
Creating Conditions for Change practice framework by promoting and actively employing the CARE principles in interactions with all Brightisle employees, clients, community partners, and stakeholders;

  • Ensure care settings receive all requested equipment and supplies in a timely manner;
  • Support new home set ups and home moves in consultation with all departments
  • Coordinate the logistics of team meetings, workshops, special projects and events;
  • Provide direct administrative support to the residential services team as required
  • Work with the Operations Director to streamline Brightisle processes and maximize efficiency;
  • Perform other duties, relevant to the position, as necessary

Required experience (equivalencies will be considered)

  • At least three (3) years experience in an administrative support role;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, programs or demands;
  • Demonstrated creative problemsolving skills;

Additional experience
It is considered an asset if you have any of the following additional experience:

  • Project or event management experience;
  • Meeting, event, or training facilitation; and
  • Documentation management.

Additional requirements

  • Fluency in English, including very strong English writing skills;
