Combined (Facility Aide & Housekeeping/Laundry Aide)

Status:
Full-Time

Core Function:

Under the direction of the Facility Manager, assists in routine checks, minor repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities, maintenance of the floor, some woodworking and plumbing work, and performs deep cleaning tasks in accordance with established standards and requirements.

Qualifications:

High school or relevant course completed.
Minimum 6 months related experience.
Able to perform heavy lifting tasks and visual acuity to ensure cleaning tasks are performed to standard
Good oral and written communication skills in English; Ability to speak Chinese an asset
Relevant satisfactory work performance

Working Condition:

Considerable lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, walking and bending
Some irregular work hours
May be required to work on weekends
Exposed to chemicals, body waste, garbage
