FlightExec has an opening for a Bookkeeper responsible for assisting the current Accounting team in their day to day tasks.

If you consider yourself highly organized, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and accepting of changing requirements, this is the opportunity for you

  • Have an understanding of both the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
  • Knowledge of HST, WSIB and Payroll taxes
  • Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of FlightExec
  • Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable
  • Able to view things with an objective mind and to do quick investigations to get the answers required to perform the role and keep the daytoday operations moving forward
  • Review current systems and processes to ensure that they are efficient and providing required information to support the business
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements and evaluate financial performance
  • Other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting and analytical experience
  • Highly proficient with QuickBooks Online
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint
  • Ability to think outside the box and openness to changing priorities and creative workarounds
  • Professional, organized, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
  • Open to helping others on the team when required ensuring the betterment of the team and company
  • Openness to different business models and being able to change work style to support the requirement at hand
  • Experience in Aviation considered an asset

Salary:
$38,500.00-$45,000.00 per year
