About Us:

TST-CF express is a division of TFI International Inc., located in Mississauga, is currently recruiting for a Dispatch Supervisor.
-
Shift Hours : 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. _

Responsibilities:

Manage the daytoday operations in the Linehaul Dispatch Department as well as assist with P&D dispatch duties.
Planning and forecasting of linehaul schedules
Dispatching functions to company Drivers, 3rdParty Carriers and Owner/Operators across Canada / Cross Border / USA
Ensure that service levels meet and or exceed the needs of our customers
Review operational efficiencies and effect change as necessary in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and cost efficiencies.
Recommend, implement and maintain performance and productivity measurements
Communicate professionally with internal and external customers in order to resolve service issues in a timely manner and providing customers with status updates.
Responsible for Customs Clearances, including setting up ACI and ACE.
Schedule repairs and maintenance for equipment.
Ensure Drivers and Carriers follow Company Safety Policies and Procedures for example: HOS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc
Completion of daily reports
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a transportation dispatch environment
Strong leadership and management skills
Strong analytical, organizational and problemsolving skills
Customer service oriented
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Professional verbal and written communication skills in English (bilingual in French is an asset)
Computer literate with sound knowledge of Gmail and Excel
Ability to work flexible hours (afternoons, evenings and weekends) as necessary
High School or equivalent
Ministry of Transportation regulations
Knowledge of Transportation Operating Systems
