    Status: Permanent Full-time

    Hours: Monday to Sunday, must be available for various shifts according to operational needs (i.e. 8:30-4:30, 9:00-5:00, 10:00- 6:00, 11:00- 7:00)

    This is what you'll be doing:

    Assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries including WSIB, MVA, and extended health. Utilize excellent assessment and treatment skills in geriatrics, neurology and orthopaedics with goal-oriented treatment plans and discharge management. Participate in promotional activities, community education, program development and Accreditation standards.

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution required
  • Current Registration and in good standing, with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario required (with evidence of insurance coverage)
  • Experience working in an outpatient setting is an asset
  • Ability to motivate, be empathetic and client-centered in all interactions with patients
  • Have a thorough understanding of confidentiality and patient dignity
  • Initiative, good problem solving and excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with an interprofessional team
  • Must be flexible and show an ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members
  • Strong organizational abilities with efficient time management skills
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
  • The ideal candidate has a strong patient centred care approach, thrives in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation.
