Responsibilities:


  • Advising executive, senior management, and board on various matters such as legal rights, and new and existing laws.
  • Managing organization's legal matters. Identifies legal risks and designs plans to mitigate and prevent routine legal risks
  • Support inhouse litigation work including gathering evidence, working with external counsel tracking infringement and enforcement.
  • Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
  • Conducting legal research and reviewing the company's litigation strategy pertaining to legal actions.
  • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights

Requirements:


  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures. Food delivery industry experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
  • Possess a Law degree
