Job Overview:


Wage:
Starting from $18/hr depending on experience


Schedule:
Part-time position with varying shifts.

The Main is open from 8am-3pm seven days a week with extend hours until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays with plans to add more evenings in the future.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with precision and consistency.
  • Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, ensuring responsible alcohol service at all times.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to assemble and serve menu items as needed.
  • Monitor and replenish supplies.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a server/bartender.
  • Proficiency in barista skills, including espresso preparation, milk steaming, and latte art not required but preferred.
  • Knowledge of cocktail recipes and mixology techniques preferred.
  • Experience in food preparation and assembly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
