Sobeys employees are responsible for carrying a full range of duties for their position in a professional, respectful, accurate and timely fashion.

All employees will provide exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer's needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Job duties include:
- provide exceptional customer service
- prepare food items and custom orders following company standards
- cook and prepare hot meal items to fill and maintain counter
- answer any customer inquiries and use knowledge of store layout and products content to give direction and provide products as needed
- stocking shelves according to plan-o-gram which includes product rotation
- build displays under direction of department or store manager
- face, merchandise, return displaced items, organize labels to ensure all aisles, freezers, coolers and displays are neatly and attractively displayed
- maintain a clean and organized environment on the sales floor and the back room

Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required
Process and maintain department shrink/ waste controls

- adhere to all food safety protocols, health and safety policies and any other company programs and initiatives.
- preform any other related duties as required

Experience is an asset but not required as we conduct comprehensive training.

All applicants must be available for a variety of morning, afternoon and evening shifts during store operation hours of 6am-10pm including weekends.
